Art Gallery Projectors

Recently at Light IQ, we pushed the barriers of convention and used a projector to light up a room with........art!!!

Artscape Gallery started filming the first video painting in 2001. Video paintings are non-narrative; there is no dialogue, no sound. The camera is static and there is no subsequent editing or manipulation of the material.

Through the video painting, usually between five and twenty minutes in length, the artist leads us into a way of seeing which has no determinable meaning but which carries a unique emotional hue. Video paintings challenge us to let go of the endless search for closure or understanding and approach instead what it is to experience the world.

Why not let yourself unwind after a tough days work in the office by returning home to your own relaxing paradise of art!
