Making Buildings Glow

The University of Liverpool's Department of Engineering recently received a huge facelift which has transformed the dated building in to a glowing beauty. The entire building is lit up at night by LEDs positioned along the building. This isn't the end of it, however, as the light can be changed to an infinite array of colours, making the building an integral yet dynamic part of Liverpool's skyline. The lights can even be used to display letters and simple advertising along the building and be used as a sign to help celebrations such as St. Patrick's and Christmas Day, boosting the holiday atmosphere within the city.

I just hope this multi-coloured glowing box doesn't keep its neighbours up at night!
