15,500 LEDs sparkle
A gigantic chandelier produced by Munich-based firm Faustig measures 10m in diameter, and shines from a height of 15.5m. It is fitted with 15,500 LEDs.
Gold-plated brass, coloured glass elements and Swarovski crystals adorn this luminaire that weighs 12 tons. Inside, the chandelier is accessed via stairs to facilitate maintenance work.
Not only a beautiful work of art but an amazing feat of design and engineering.
