Drop Light

The Drop Light is a unique lighting system that provides a new user interface for indoor lighting. Each lighting module can be separated from the main body to use as a free standing lamp. An electric line, located within the main body, charges the 'drops' via a network of tracks. The droplights contain new advance LEDs which prevent the lights from excessive heating.

If only it was IP rated so you could take it outside.... well still time for development!

Soma by Ayala Serfary, her first solo light installation held at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art

Open until 14th February

The installation is made up of thousands of glass filaments encased in a polymer membrane-like web floating atop a sunken surface covered in tiny glass beads. The manual work process is akin to a transformation of a calligraphic drawing into a three dimensional form, and was executed in collaboration with glass artists Eytan Hall and Anna Gautier.

"That which is beautiful is not ephemeral, it incessantly keeps recurring" (Meira Yagid Haimovici, Curator in of Design and Architecture, the Tel-Aviv Museum of Art).

Soma light sculptures display a universal dimension; they are representations of the essence of nature in its most abstract form, standing for frozen memories existing beyond time and space.

For Butt Lovers Who Are Afraid of the Dark

Butt-On (button, get it?) is a fun filled way to look at zero watt night lamps. Butt-On is a low wattage night light with an integrated switch.
Pinch the Butt-On to turn on the light and give it another squeeze to turn it off. The material is made from soft translucent silicon based rubber for a better tactile feel.

Ladies, if you walked into a man's apartment with; A. a night light and B. shaped like a butt; would you really see that guy again?
