Projectors can also be used to light specialist pieces of artwork, where a lens of the precise dimensions of the artwork will be used in tandem with a low voltage light source to frame the piece exactly.

Statues in both the interior and exterior can benefit from uplights, that cast shadows around the artwork, accentuating both the texture and colours to their fullest extent.

Picture illumination does not need to be focused on every picture individually – some art work lends itself to being lit whereas others may look just as beautiful unlit. Remember not to crown a room or art gallery with separate focal points, as this will cause confusion to the eye and create a cluttered lighting scheme.
