Interior Reading Lights

Reading lights need to have both a good strength of light and be flexible, accommodating for several angles and positions. Reading lights will be used for close-up work such as sewing and therefore need good colour rendering, tilt and focus. It is essential to buy good quality reading lights as poor light levels or quality will lead to eye strain and headaches.

 Reading light are also a great addition to a bedside table, allowing for a lower level of light to be controlled for before sleeping. Midnight trips to the bathroom can also be aided with a subtle beam of light from a reading light and will prevent waking a sleeping partner.

Being able to dim the light is useful for watching television or for setting ambient lighting within a space. Dimmable reading lights can be controlled with switches or by touch sensitivity.

Office work can be benefited from precise light sources such as table lights, desk lights and reading lights. All desk lights can use both a normal GLS or an energy efficient lamp. By using an eco-friendly lamp, you will reduce your energy costs as well as extend the time between maintenance as energy efficient lamps have a life almost 10 times that of a normal bulb.
